hello peeps can u please help me like u always do .im new to this im sitting here at my pc and i have a box genuiene the box ,and the connection to the usb port how do i begin to put firmware and then put channels on im in waterford,thanks sharon
first make sure you have a genuine starview the box(you can check this out on this site)then when your sure download the correct firmware to your pc,also you will need a loader gtrom4.00.exe for the box,if you find you have a different starviev you may need an other gtrom loader as i say all info you need is on this site.once you have the firmware and the loader downloaded its easy enough.in your pc open up gtrom.exe you will see serial port in this box it will usualy say com1,you can change this to com1 up to com4(com is the socket your lead is plugged in to on your pc)try com1 then scroll down to bin file click on browse,when you find the correct bin file press ok or open,this will return you back to gtrom, then click download a percentage sign and a figure should appear if all is well,example 5% then 10% and so on up to 100% if this fails cancell and try com 2 and then com3 and finally com 4.if you did everything correct one of these coms should do the trick.last thing is if you have ntl in waterford they are changing encryption from nagra2 to nagra 3 as we speak as are chorus but chorus have yet to change,meaning if you have ntl you will all ready be losing channels no matter what you do ,and if you have chorus this will happen sooner rather than later,so enjoy what you have or what you get while you got got it.good luck mate.

for the help ,basiclly is it time to buy the new KRYPTVIEW
box .does the firmware for that exist on this site snd will that box sill retain all the channels by n#l and chorrus .does it use the same connections too.do you know much bout this .thsnks shaorron
