I Will Flash my new XBOX is arcade with the Jasper Motherboard this weekend. I have a few Questions:

1)Which drive normally come with the Arcade Jasper Liteon?
2)I dis backups a few games in my Harddrive from Original Games with XBC. I still need to check them with XCDCMUlleter? I hear the guy which updated the database pass away so the site is down. The Newest games are COD5, Gears of Wars and Guitar Hero World Tour.
3)If safe to go live with the above games abd use the 1.51 firmware? or is better to wait until 1.6?

Thank for the Help

The best response for you is "try using the search button".
You can't even guess how many "text arguements" I got into when I was first learning because I thought the guys were busting my balls telling me to "search". (Example, I got seriously heated at CARN for telling me to search, turns out he is fairly smart dude).

Anyway here is some food for thought then search again and read the tuts:

1)All newly manufactured consoles are LITEON. From a virgin drive you must obtain vital info over serial, with a max323 or connectivity kit.
2)What did you do with xbc? All downloaded .iso's should be checked with ABGX, not Mulleter. ABGX is a really neat utility that will check most everything and fix it for you.
3)Safe is a relative term. I personally use backup copies of my original COD5 and GOW to go online nearly every day. If ripped and burned properly you are in good shape. 1.4 or newer is relatively safe. From what I understand 1.6 only adds 0800 and is not safer than 1.51 in terms of security.

GoodLuck and read the stickies!!!!!!

last bit of advice: change your thread title to read something more informative or you risk the chance of the thread being closed.

Thread title renamed from "Some Update Please" - a title that's almost as bad as "Please Help". In future please see here about thread titles ~ http://forums.afterdawn.com/thread_view.cfm/440385

And as bd911 quite rightly stated, a simple search will reveal a) the answers and b) pages of new threads with the same exact questions asked over and over. Please read the bold stickied threads, that's what they're here for...

The probe connects to the connectivity kit. What where you going to connect the probe to? Actually i think i saw something about connecting the probe to pin 11 of dvd power. Not sure how this proccess helps get key tho.
