Can you download game demos onto USB drive

Just wondering, i have the PC, i have the PS3 & i have the USB drive, is it possible to download game demos for the PS3 onto a USB drive & simply plug into the PS3. My PC is miles away from my PS3, i know i should get a wireless modem & it is on my to-do list, this would just mean i can get demos sooner rather than later & not just wait till i can get playable demos in a magazine, which seem to be hard to find.
Just interested to know.

no, i checked their site and u can only downlaod stuff from the store for your psp.
