i get online everyday with a modded box. Just make sure to run every iso through ABGX and make sure it is both stealth and verified. This is still no guarantee you wont get banned from live but chances are low. but even if you get banned it would just be the console not the gamertag. also the console would still function offline exactly as before the ban.

There is no guarantees that you will not be banned as no-one knows for sure how Microsoft do there bannings. There are plenty of steps you can take to minimise the risk such as

Keeping to the latest version of Custom Firmware (iExtreme 1.51)

Checking the ISO is stealthed and ripped properly (ABGX is good for this)

Not playing games before they are released.

Hope this helps.

What you want are Verbatim DVD+R DL Made in Singapore.

Stay away from Memorex or other no-name brands. You can find the Verbatims at Best Buy or Sam's Club. Or you can buy them online here-

although the Verbatims would be the best the other brands rely on a combination of things. Your burner, which drive is the xbox, the burn speed. I personally do not use the verbatim and have never had a problem with most brands. Memmorex should only be bought in a small pack maybe a 3 pack to see if they work but mostly i would only use them as a last resort. but mostly its finding a balance between what u wanna pay and how many coasters are acceptable.

My group of friends only buy Memorex and we've only had one bad spindle. We are talking over two dozen spindles. If you want to pay a lot more for the V brand then go ahead.

ABGX > Mulleter; dont waste your time with anything else.

You get what you pay for. Over time those Memorex discs will not last long and you will have to re-burn them causing you to waste more money.

Just look around the forums. Almost all of the people who said that they have been having problems say that their discs were Memorex.

Plus there are reports that low quality disks such as Memorex put extra strain on your laser causing your drive to die prematurely.
