help geting rid of duplicate channels

hi basicaly i got a wii of someone and it had duplicate channels ive sorted this problem out b4 with waninkoko v1 or v2 cant remember but anyway i have tried both these with this wii and it didnt remove them it just said error reading the disc please note this isnt a disc read error as in some earlier games did it is a leh17 wii with wiikey 2 i think, any help on removing these channels would be appreciated or have i used the waninkoko disc wrong it has been so long since i did this and was wondering if perhaps there was an updated way to remove them thank you

If you have homebrew channel installed then you can use this to remove the duplicate channels.

thank you for your reply i havnt got homebrew channel installed as i have no interest in playing vc games however is that the only way i can remove them now if so i guess that what ill have to do was hoping there be a simpler way ie the disc i used to use

If the wii is on firmware 3.3 or higher then the waninkoko disk-based removers defiantly will not work since modified or custom disk images cannot be run without homebrew channel help on those firmwares. If the wii is on 3.2 or earlier then they might, you can try downloading the disk here http://nintendo-scene.com/978
But it is almost a year old, so I dont know if it will still work anymore.
