Experiencing installation problem with EX5100 PVR, followed instructions as given found transponders and channel arrangments after scan. No audio or visuals. Justs stating scrambled channel on screen. When downloading thelink for the EX5100 PVR, unable to detect the reciever when trying to boot it states access denied.
First time novice can anyone please help with any relevant advice in orderto recieve cable stations.
Also i typed the codes in manually, just go to menu, user installation, hit green,then red to add a channel, frequencies are here:
http://forums.afterdawn.com/thread_view.cfm/540478 you dont need to put them all in, just each frequency once, obviously they are repeated as many channels share the same frequency.
Your symbol rate is 6.875, once youve done this you will have 13 different channels entered, just hit blue to save and then update channels with the red button on the user installation screen, then that should be it, it will take a minute to scan and save and your done.
Im assuming your on cable and not mmds, if your on mmds then sorry i cant help you.
