error 001 Unknown modchip

I have no clue what mod chip I have in my machine. I wanna say it was something like Wiihacked. Is there anyway to update this chip like the wiikey update?

Theres no mochip calld wiihack, but error 001 is most common with the wiikey.

There are 2 ways to check:
1) Open the console up and look at it.
2) Try to install the 1.9s wiikey update. If you dont have a wiikey the update will fail without changing anything.

If its not a wiikey then your options are to swap the chip or install the homebrew channel and boot your games through gecko OS. That will bypass the 001 diskcheck and let you play your games.
