hi, i've got 2 xbox360's and i recently flashed one of them, it is the basic model with no hard-drive, i took the hard-drive of my other 360 and put it on the one i flashed and it said that it needed to be updated, if i was to update will this wipe any of my profile or saves off? when i play on the one which is not flashed it does not say that it needs updating so just curious as to why it says it now?
ps i was not online when it said it needed updating.

Its just reading the updates off the HD. Updating the console will not effect any of your profiles or game saves. However keep in mind that DLC is paired to the HD and console. So whatever console you download it on is the only one you can use it on.

I think on the non-flashed you have already installed the NXE update and on the flashed not. Go rent Hawx and get the update from there.

PSVita: hardly ever play it
GameCube: Black with a Viper chip installed. With gameboy player. Trying to get a Wavebird controller.

It's just wanting to add some stuff to your profile so it'll work on either console. Mine did that when I put my old 120GB HDD on a new console. I think the message was something like "It needs to add some information in order for this profile to work on this console" Accept update?

I said yeah and had no problems switching HDD's from either of my consoles.
