3.2u and Wii Motion Plus

I currently have downgraded my Wii to 3.2u to use the homebrew channel. Any idea if I will need to update to the 3.4u firmware to play motion plus?

In order to play with the Wii Fit Board it just needed to update, but it must not have been a firmware update, because my Wii was still 3.2u after the update.

2 solutions for your case:

1) Either install an update blocker such as STARFALL (dead) then set to block updates from other games. The initial update you have is just an application to recognized the Wii board. Other user's (Penquin) pointed out that Wii fit Disk also contain firmware update.

2) You can update to 3.4 but then you have to follow the Wii FIX guide. Since 3.4 blocks some application like WAD installation and also blocks the Gamma Disk Loader. As some people pointed you don't need the TP hack and the HB channel will remain when you migrate form 3.2 to 3.4 so you can still used and install some hack in 3.4 (Wii fix guide).

So it's your call..
