hey
i have a japanese semi-bricked wii
the system menu is 3.3
i have the homebrew channel on the wii

You can go online and go to Wii setting and look for update firmware ,so what ever you current region will update to that region (e.g. 3.3j to 3.4j). So make sure you are updating your Wii to the correct region if not then you can used original games that has 3.4(your own region) update not sure which one, one user pointed out that that Wii Fit has. Once you are in 3.4 you have to follow the Wii Fix guide to enable again all the hack.

Can you find (borrow) a game that has 3.4 update (such as Mario Power Tennis), and see if that update can help? Do you have a modchip?

Can you still connect to the internet using the internet channel or nintendo shopping? If you do then look for Firmware Downgrader.

Also you are posting 3 questions which are related about your Semi-Bricked Wii and you also doing other things like installing WAD's which again you raised question/problem. You might end up instead of semi-brick you will have a full-brick Wii.

Semi-bricked wii's cant connect to the net at all, and the firmware downgrader and region changer both require net access to work.

Your only option is to get a japanese wii game with 3.4 on it and update it with that.
