Hiya,

You have Nero installed...

As part of that installation, InCD (Nero's version of Packet-Writing software) has also been installed.

Using Add/Remove programs, REMOVE InCD.

If it is not available for removal by that method, then it gets a litte bit problematic, and you will need some handholding.

Packet-Writing software allows you to use a Re-Writable disk as a LARGE floppy disk (after formatting).
It quite often interferes with the more usual burning software as it has a tendancy to "go insane" and grab access to the drive, even when you don't want it to !!!

It is of little use UNLESS you have very specific requirements.

Hope this helps...

Kind regards,

Hiya,

Use the Add/Remove to GET RID OF InCD.

The only thing it SHOULD affect is InCD (assuming your system is in a reasonable state), as that is the way Windows is designed to work.

You will be removing ONLY the Packet-Writing software.

Remember to REBOOT after removing (gives Windows a chance to get its underwear in order again).

If you still have problems (it will be a different problem), let us know ;)

Byeeee..
