when exiting a game my wii crashes,its on,but tv says no signal,it has to be turned off manually.is there a fix for this,as ive heard others with the same problem.im on 3.3 e firmware,latesst homebrew,and ive tried several back up launchers with the same prob,currently using wiigater gamma,..latest vers.

if you have hardmodded your wii with a chip this could happen due to the fact some of the wires are short circuiting your board. In order to fix this youll have to open up your wii and place electrical tape between the board and the chip.
If this is a softmod issue well just reformat your wii and redo the soft mod entirely.
If its neither well return your disk drive to nintendo for a new one.
tks,this is a soft mod and everything else seems to works fine,i was kinda hoping a tweak here and there would fix it,maybe remove a buggy file etc.is this a common problem?has anyone else got similar problems,btw ive only got one back up game,its mario and sonic olympics,could it just be the game?

Definitely try another game before you try anything else. I'll bet it's the game and not your console.

so in your case,if you press the home button on the remote,do you go straight back to the wii menu with no problems?ive had advise to format the wii,which i dont really want to do as im all new to that,will it come back as originally as i bought it?put me in front of a pc and im fine,but wii is all new to me and its really for my kids.

When I press the home button it gives me the option of going back to the Wii menu, and if I hit that it takes me straight there. Like I said, try another game before you try anything else. It's more than likely the game.
