I have been able to read make iso using samsung (like for many other games) but now i try to write onto blank verbatim dvd & I got stealth error 'PFI SECTOR failed" I have never / ever seen this message in all back-ups I made in the past. What is this?
I know they are now adding 3rd partition video to the games but I thought it was to be not possible to read them on hacked 360 after they were copied.
XBOX Backup Creator scans for all the security information and the reason it fails is because HAWX contains the 3rd wave video partition. So since it doesn't match known data within XBC, it fails. XBC will need to be updated to allow the 3rd wave to go through. For now, you can use ImgBurn.
Also I believe XBC will ask you if you want to continue, and it should work fine and burn all the proper information, it just thinks it is wrong since it doesn't match the known 1st and 2nd wave video partition.
As long as you used ABGX v1.0, and everything is properly stealthed, you should be fine.
A) Isn't ABGX mainly used if you want to play backup games on xbox live? If so then this isn't realy for me since I never playe live xbox (except ps3 which is free)
B) As for imgburn, I know i am suppose to put some numbers in "sectors in lo" when I am in setting/write options, what number is this & does this always stay permenant or needs to be changed?
Personally, I would go ahead and run the iso through ABGX. Reason being if you are running iXtreme firmware (1.4 and above), it will do certain security checks on the game before it loads. If it doesn't pass, it won't boot the game. So go ahead and just properly stealth a game and burn so you aren't wasting discs.
In ImgBurn, load the .dvd file and it will set the proper layer break, along with pointing it to the right iso to burn.
Does abgx automatically fix / make changes to iso?
Does it save a new iso ina folder or it automatically overwrite existing iso with proper info?
abgx is mainly if we want to play that particular game live, correct?
