I posted this message in the wrong place so. It was suppose to be here

Hi. I found this forum. And i thought maybe you someone could help me. So i got the surround system from my brother. It is quite old and it doesnt have an digital Optic input. But it has something like CDR digital IN(and out) It kinda looks like an ordinary RCA cable. So if i gues correct the CDR Digital Input should be able to have surround. So i wonder if there is somekind of an adapter or something. Like CDR Digital to digital optic or something. And could someone tell me what the hek is CDR digital Input. Because i am avare of digital optic cables but i never seen a CDR Digital cable. And i googled it and its like there is not such thing. So the main thing is how can i get 5.1 surround without digital Optic input. As i say i have CDR digital INput.

I don't know if that is the right name of what it is called. I would look to see if you can correctly identify what it is, and then we can better help. CDR digital cable/input isn't bring back anything from google, so you're identifying it wrong/calling it by the wrong name.

It could possibly be a Coaxial Digital Cable input.

These look like RCA cables but only with 1 wire.

My Surround Sound has both Coaxial and Optical input.

So google Coaxial Digital Cable and see if that gets you anywhere.

If it is a Coaxial Digital Input you can get something like this HERE which can convert optical to coaxial.

Thx. I doubt i will find a converter like that in my country but still Thx. And i dont know when but il try to take a photo of the back of the player to make shure we are all in the same page :)
