I have a Hitachi 47 flashed with maximus firmware. Can I re-flash the drive with ixtreme 1.51 firmware. I do not have the backup of the dvd key anymore. Do I need it? Can the new firmware flash use the key in the old firmware?

If you can, any help would be appreciated,

The key belongs to the drive not the firmware. just flash as you normally would if it was still stock fw. just be extra carefull not to erase the key before you have read it. once the key is lost then it is a brick pretty much
