I'm bidding on a 360 that is an awsome bargin as I am broke lol.
it states as follows:
360
XBOX 360 modded firmware v1.51.
console is problem free guaranteed.
1x non hdmi xbox 360 console.
THIS UNIT DOES NOT COME WITH A HARD DRIVE OR MEMORY CARD.
6 games are backups of originals and need to be destroyed in 48hrs:
gears of war2, call of duty5, need for speed pro street, fifa 2009, grand theft auto 4, street fighter 4.
I have read through many posts didn't get my precise answers, time is of the essence.
If I play these games offline, using a memory card to save games. then when I want to play a legit game online remove previous mem card delete everything on xbox itself (if possinle) put in hard drive that has never been used for copy games, and play legit game.
could I still be banned?

There is always a chance you might get banned. I have been playing my back ups online now for 6 months and no ban.
The only sure fire way not to get banned is not to mod.

thats true.
It's a good bargain also, and its already modded. I'm going to try not play these games online or have any info about them on my xbox when I do go online, but we'll have to see how big the temtation is as I havent played gears 2 or Cod5, and being that I spent the last years or so locked in my room playing gears 1 and Cod 4, it might be hard.
If I get banned, I'd be upset I couldn't play online as thats all I used to do. On the bright side I woudn't pay crazy prices for games, and I'd use it only for single player games and my comp for multi.

chances are it's already banned... and the disclaimer about the burned disks is rubbish.. selling them is criminal piracy... and so is buying them XD

HAHA, the temptation will be bad. I said I wasnt' going to play
my backups online. That last all of 15 minutes before I popped in
Left 4 dead. So I wish you the best of luck with that. :)

i think he thinks people will think thats legal, he dis say " since the games arn't legally yours you should dispose of them but they wont stop working or anything".

what really gets to me though and why I'm not buying from a store is:
Im living in africa at the moment but I'm from Australia. It cost $3800rand in africa 360(a third world country) where in Australia the same bundle costs $2600rand???? So I'm kinda annoyed.
