hello everyone

ive been out of the scene for a while now. trying to get back into it now that mad world is out. i havent updated my wii or wiikey since SSBB. is there any updates that i should be aware of in order to play the most recent wii games? also, i do not use nor am i interested in using homebrew. thanks ahead for any help.

i am running 3.4 on my NTSC Wii with wiikey2 and hombrew channel. i ran the update with mad world and everything works fine.

anyone?

i have a wii with wiikey and have not updated either since SSBB came out. is there a wii or wiikey update that i must install before playing the new games? also is it still ok to update wii from disc as long as its same region as my wii?

There is no update out that stops Modchips from working. So updating to the latest 3.4 firmware is fine.

Just make sure you have the latest firmware installed on the Wiikey.

So i havent updated my wii for a long while. I ripped NFS-Undercover, but the backup update failed, so what would be the latest game to hire to update my D2CKEY wii?

thank you larrylje for the response. the only thing is that i do not know what firmware is on the wiikey. i have not updated it since SSBB. that is the last game i have played on it. is there a wiikey firmware update that has been released since then?

Latest WiiKey 1 firmware is 1.9s; that's what I have in mine. If you don't know what you have, just update it to this version.
