Softmod and still play on live? New guide?

I want to softmod my 360 but I am worried of the following:
1.) Mine is under warranty (isn't this voided when opened?)
2.) I want to play on xbox live (rumors tell me you get banned if you play online)
3.) Need an updated guide on how to mod with the newest firmware.

1. do some research all your quesitons are basic info that can be found within 5 mins or searching. top of this board it says search, use that. you need to learn basics to even identify what drive type you have and such. try reading some guides in the ultimate sticky.
If you send me questions on Live about modding or anything related i will block you. Dont be an idiot.

ok well NEW jungleflasher was released with the NEW firmware that was all released on 3/6/09 and since then there have been at least 20 threads of people asking the same questions you just asked. i just checked threads on 3/6/09 start on page 11. and there is a huge thread dedicated to just new firmware 1.51 and it has links to JF in it and several threads reference that JF containsa link for the tutorial for it. and several threads have links to that turorial cause so many people asked just this question. im sorry to be a smart ass and so rude but it is there over and over again so much

Main thing is it voids your warranty. I thought there was a way to prevent that.

If you can take it apart without making any obvious marks and you dont damage the warranty sticker on the front then they wont be able to tell you did. two different types of stickers old style is silver plastic like and new one is a multicolor paper like and much easier to work with.

Guess that would be my next question. Is there a guide out there to show you how to take it apart without voiding your warranty? I have a benQ. Is it possible to mess things up during the process?

Is this everyone's answer? I wouldn't have posted if I found it on google. There are a million guides, but not ones that show you how to take it apart without voiding your warranty. The only thing I have found is the blow dryer trick. Does this actually work and proven that it doesn't void the warranty.

lol. Now that's funny. I thought I read somewhere you could flash your drive without opening the case, that would be cool. Seems to be fairly simple. I just want to play on live.

actually they came to my house and banged my baby and stole my mom. They said they wouldn't give my mom back until I paid $150.00 to fix the dvd drive in my xbox360 with the voided warranty sticker.
