I reassembled my xbox after trying to fix the rrod and forgot to put the fan shroud back on.Is it really necessary or can I just leave it off?

its there for a reason guy. if you just got done fixing rrod dont you think you would wanna take the time time to make sure you have propper air flow?

if you dont put it on after a few min of game play you will get two red lights meaning it has overheated.
