Sorry i just did a factory setting on my starview 3 super box i was watching most channels last night before the update and it won't update now please help. I've tried installing again and letting it update on (bbc1,discovery,s*y sports1 and s*y indie) also did the emu button thing and the set default key. Is there anything that i am missing to try to get it to update. Once it got to 70% on bbc1 but then back to 0% after that nothing please help.

Nah still won't update on CN too. I just keep trying my luck at some channels and see what happens but and other thoughts please post, i miss them so much :( .

Sorry Bravo didnt work either. I was wondering is their a set time to leave it on a channel for it to update ? and what are these channels?

allow about 15 secs to move,if not another channel try,also make sure
no splitters or extensions used,sounds like a starview problem not updating.try sly 2 ,also set default key and powering off at back/on
can sometimes work.

maybe your box hasnt the latest firmware on it,that happened to me kept updating over 100% then back to zero,had to flash with firmware 8.04

nah , it just stays at zero, and now ive almost tried all the channels now and still nothing , really must be something i have missed.

But i was watching all the channels on friday night, its just that i factory defaulted the box to restore some missing channels. I didnt just turn off, i just did a fresh restore you know, but it just keep saying data updated [0%]

firmware is old,new firmware is v.8.04 might need reflashing ,is it original or clone,as new firmware is not clone friendly.
