1.5.1 flash problem (MS-28)

I feel my knowledge of flashing 360's are a little more than average but I am stumped. I tried to update one of my 360's (MS-28) from 1.5 to 1.5.1. I used Dosflash32, it flashed all banks but when I try to run a game or dvd the only option is "open tray". So I tried to reflash it with 1.5 and still same option. I have no clue of what I did wrong.

I tried Jungleflasher but always get the same error "Drive not ready". I have never been able to get jungleflasher to work. That is why I use Dosflash32.

it could just be a simple case of your laser just happened to go bad on you. do you have another drive lying around to try? i would do that and it will tell you. or try adjusting the pot on the lens.

I asked my son if the last time he tried to play a game would it work and he said "No it would read the disc then say open tray". Good catch man. Thanks for the info.

As for adjusting the pot on the lens, do I just move it a little or what?

Either one of the following 3 in order of most likelyness:

1) your DVD drive just dided on you and you need a new one (iff you load 0800 firmware and it reads on your PC then its not the DRIVE)

2) bad xbox 360 sata cable

3) worst is that you broke the SATA controller on your xbox3 60
