This is pretty deflating. Had the wii for couple months now with the wiiconnect24 on with which I believe auto updates. Anyway just got Zelda, searched many guides to get everything right but no go after at least 4 tries. Can't get Home brew to load. Get to zelda with the gamesave, walk backwards and the boot.dol are found and the system eventually hangs. I get rows similar to this before that happens:
err=c1000003, reply=80400900 00000000 0000019e 90010000
Don't get it because the save is read in the game. I had the connect24 on when I did my first try. Does this matter? Man, after hours of searching appears I'm the only one not getting this to work! Any help....

Are you sure you're using the right version of the hack? There are different save files for 3.4 and 3.3/lower. And are you sure you're using the right region hack to match your console?

Give us some more details... I assume your Wii isn't chipped, so the game region must match your console region, right?

Sorry for lack of details. It was getting late and I had been at this for hours.
I was using twilight-hack-v0[1].1-beta2 with SDBrew (for 3.4). Tried just the twilight hack with homebrew. I have the boot.dol in root dir., the "private" twi hack, and an apps folder right now with tetris, and a few others. my disc is A0 and usa. Hack I've been using is twilight 0 usa. This is a borrowed disc so i don't have too long with this.
Something that wasn't too clear to me is if you only get one shot to do this with the 3.4 system. My first install was with wiiconnect 24 on. Could nintendo "see" this on their server and have uploaded a ban on this to my console?
A couple of things-- I guess it wouldn't hurt to try the other region hacks. And I'm using a 16MB toshiba SD card. I believe I read on Wiki that some SD cards may not work ( other than HDSD? cards). I may try to get a 2G card today.
Please keep helping....

If you have 3.4U(USA) then the twilight-hack-v0.1-beta2.zip should be the file you use. You can get it HERE if you want to try a different download of the hack.

Now once you get the hack to the SD card you want to transfer the USA hack to your Wii.

Make sure the Homebrew Channel boot.dol file is at the root of the SD Card.

Now the USA version of Twilight Princess has 2 versions. You need to know the correct version so you can choose the correct game save listed in the USA hack.

So look at the game disc and read the writing that is toward the center plastic hole. If it says RVL-RZDE-0A-0 then select the first game save in the list after starting the game. If it says RVL-RZDE-0A-2 then select the second game save in the list after starting the game.

unfortunately, I'm pretty sure I've got all that covered. So if their are not reports of this hack no longer working then it must be something with me (hardware, sd card, etc). I can try your other link to the hack. I'm beginning to wonder if its my sd card.
Also, I tried the twihack2 and game froze. twilight 0 still tries to load but has problems and hangs.
Thanks for input...

ok so their was something with my sd card (Most likely not formatted properly) I didn't have options (maybe it was my card reader driver) to format to FAT. Anyway got a new 2 g card formatted, etc. And got homebrew to work... Great!
The first app I loaded was homebrew browser. I was asked if I wanted to update because their was a newer version, so I did. My remote isn't working anymore. Replaced batteries, reset button by remote batteries, rebooting wii, Nothing works. My blue lights on the remote are on the bottom. Is their an issue with the browser? I'm having no access to the wii without the remote. Ver 3.4 (I wishing I would have downgraded first). Please help....

A little closure on this thread. When all else fails break open the owners manual. Resinked and everythings now fine...
