hi all, i have a 360 that was modded for me about 6 months ago... i have had no problem downloading / burning games until now. now ive read about the 3rd video partition and the newly released version of ixtreme. so in talking to the kid that modded the box for me he said that i would need the original key for my drive in order to change the firmeware to the new 1.5.1 but he said that he doesnt have it. does this mean im s.o.l. ? PLEASE HELP! is there anything that can be done? i'd appreciate any comments or links to tutorials or anything that could straighten this situation out. im proficient in dealing with motherboards and such although ive never so much as opened an xbox. thanks in advance.

If your drive was flashed then ur key is still in your drive so u havnt lost it at all, otherwise ur xbox wouldn't work with ur drive
