If i solder modchip, is it possible to remove HBC and WAD files and Backup Loader and all?

so i installed the homebrew channel and WAD files and backup loader and all that stuff on the wii. I am still in the process of getting an ISO tho so I have not actually played any backup game on the wii yet. I have a wiikey modchip and I was wondering if I should just get a profesional to solder that on my wii because i heard it has lower chance of getting bricked that way and 100% compatibility and stuff. Plus slower load times? But would it be possibly to remove all that stuff I did on my wii? Because i heard future updates may be a major issue. Thats why i wanted to just use modchip instead, but If i can't remove that stuff i already did to my wii then there is no point right? Sorry im really new to this stuff, and im just trying to learn whats best. Thanks in advance

Nintendo may roll out firmware updates that will block or remove homebrew, but I dont think they'll make an update that damages a wii with homebrew. Doing that would upset their customers and drive people away from them.

So removing or not removing the various firmware patches and channels you've installed shouldnt make much difference if you plan on using a modchip.
