lol. Figured it was a good laugh. So I should be able to get it apart with a 1/4th flat head. Is that all I need to get it opened? Where is the best guide to follow?

if that doesn't work you can try the "hammer and anvil" method but MS usually voids the warranty the second the hammer contacts the case. or you can even try the "Monster Truck" method which involves placing the console beneath the tire of a full size monster truck, the las method (most unsuccessful one) is to cover the console in peanut butter and throw it into a cage of angry zoo animals. Oh I forgot my favorite method... cover it in 100 dollar bills and walk into a strip joint, case will be open in seconds.

So no you got the .rar files for each of the different drive types. note the location of the "put firmware files here" folder and extract each of the above .rar's into that folder. You should end up with a couple of sammy files, one benq file, one liteon file, and tons of hitachi files.... don't quote me on the counts.
