Are the boxes out in Galway, I have no channels it says NO SIGNAL, when I try go to the basic package I still get nothing, I know the boxes are going off soo but why cant I pick up the basic package. Thanks

try unplugging the provider cable from the box and plug it into the back of the tv if you get no channels its prob down for maintenance or somethin.

Hi, tried that and still nothing, it has been off most of the day. My friend just around the corner has all her channels with the box though, Thanks

more than likely you have been disconnected for some reason you should have a signal strength indicator on your box you could try looking at that before you mess with the box.

Well you can check the signal strength, By clicking OK on any channel the bottom screen shows the signal level.
try this got it from another site hope it helps dont have starview myself mate.

just checked my box on a channel that is encrypted and i can still
see the signal strength yours should be the same

No signal strength at all. I was told that n*l had someone going round peeping in your windows to see if they could see any boxes, that couldn't be true, lol, could it?

WOULDNT put it past them,anyway at least you know the problem either you are disconnected or you have a problem from your n*l box inside to your starview.

Take the cable out of the box plug it directly into the tv if you have channels on the tv the problem is with your box
if you have no channels after you do this then you know its the cable has been disconnected this is the easiest way and the most reliable

Yeah, I tried that and still nothing, I will have to disconnect the box and call the cable company tomorrow, Thanks for trying anyway.

Galway Gem i'm in the same boat, ch#rus, lost everything on Friday.
just saying "No Signal". I've starview 1 , thought i'd at least keep Se#anta Sports for Saturday football.

It was the cable company had switched me off when they were working in the area and they forgot to turn it back on, three feckin days I had to wait, bloody N*hell.
