I have a wii with FW 3.2(US),modded with a wiikey(FW 1.9s).The homebrew channel works great most of the time but i cant use wad manager.when i start it, the screen just goes black and i need to hold the power button on my wii for 5 secs.
i can however install vc wads with wad installer but wiiware wads,after installation,on opening just turn the screen black and then return to the wii menu.
Many wiiware games will not run on 3.2 and instead require newer firmwares. Not sure why your wad manager is crashing, but there are different versions around that you can download and try.
i tried v 1.3 of the wad manager. the games i tried playing are world of goo,art style cubello and art style rotohex(installed with wad installer but not workin)
You may have a bad WAD or region lock, it works on my system with 3.2u (no mod chip). Loading with no problem using WAD manager channel or Wad Manager apps.
Not sure if there's a region remover for WADs, for WAD of your region look for USA or NTSC NOT PAL so depends on where you get your WAD's. I can load all my WADs either on CANAL WAD Manager Channel or HBC WAD manager.
