Hello, I have a recently soft-modded (through twilight hack) USA wii running 3.2U firmware. Things have been working great so far, except I have only gotten one wii backup game to work successfully (Wii Music). I am using backup launcher gamma 0.3, and I have tried about 6 games. They mostly have the same problem: right when the game loads up, the frames on the screen get jumpy and the distorted images are in black and white. I cannot navigate to play the games because the frames are too jerky.
All the games i've tried so far are NTSC. I tried reinstalling the backup launcher but the problem persists. I have also tried different ISO burning programs and using different computers to burn the image, no luck there either. Worth noting is that the only backup that works was downloaded on my laptop... I am acquiring another one to test if that is the problem, but it will take days. Please lend me your ideas.

I don't think you have a NTSC backup game you have PAL backup:
Try force NTSC sometimes works but not 100% some games are region lock(PAL).
Another question ... is it possible to customize the backup launcher so it saves these settings, sparing me of having to change them every time I launch a game?

Yes, you can install the gamma loader as a channel with Force NTSC:
Look for force NTSC, since your Wii is 3.2u, some PAL newer games comes with update and you might end up semi-brick your Wii. You can install starfall or upgrade to the latest firmware and do the Wii Fix guide..
