i wonder if anyone can help my box has crashed and need to replace the image my problem is my box is a clone and the ethernet port doesnt work so i cant ftp the romz over so could some one give me a link please.

hi mate im no expert when it comes to dreambox,but i know alittle.i dont know where you live but first thing try the download area on this site,its pretty good.failing that you could try digitalworldz they are i supppose the premier league champs when it comes to dreambox.only thing is you have to register,you will need an email for this,strange as it is they wont except hotmail users(cos there a free service)it would seem. so you need to be paying for your email service,and then you need to have made at least 12 posts before downloading is available.a lot of people find this site difficult.it may have changed in recent months i dont know(but i doubt it).you could also try wizardmods ,its free and easy to register and no fuss about emails.also they have a very good toolbar you can download free,it carries codes and fixes plus downloads and links.i use this all the time its very good,and i used it for dbox/dreambox/starview/eurovox.you may or may not know that in the near future most cable tv companies will change to nagra3, and as yet no fix is available,so i myself have not bothered updating software i enter codes manualy,for this i use my wizardmods toolbar or bigmaq toolbar they have all codes available.dont know if you know how to manualy input codes,you can get lots of help here or elsewhere,i can help you a little if your stuck.good luck.
