k i think i found one but what does this mean?
Transfer of files to the flash is handled by a built in USB controller, connected to your PC via a Mini USB cable (Included with MOD). A useful LED has also been integrated in the design to show that the MOD is powered up. DMS Tech. has custom-authored a PC transfer program for sending flash files from the PC to the MOD. The USB controller I.C which is present on board the MOD is fully H.I.D compliant and does not require a PC driver, it will self configure in any Microsoft Operating system.
Xbit is fully compatible with any of the Scene's third party flash files.
The final design will include, three installation options, solderless pogo pins , pin header & a standard soldering solution (with pre-tinned & pre-cut wires supplied).
The DMS Team decided to replace the 1MB flash with a 2MB flash to offer greater flexibility to users and accommodate the new 2MB BIOS which are coming in the near future. Users have the possibility to select from a total of seven BIOS file combinations. They have also designed the PC flashing software to include a slick GUI.
why do i have to hook it up to my pc?

To Flash the BIOS because when you get the chip is it flashed with a dummy bios that is not able to run anything.

yeah it takes less than 15 minutes to get it working and yes! it does plays all backups. you just have to flash the chip with the bios, but eh you have to flash every chip thats on the market today.

and if can't get one locally you can try: modchip.ca, mrmodchips.com, system-mods.com, baldbouncer.co.uk all of these sites hava a quality servic although for MOodchip.ca you better check if they have them in stock, beacuse they can take a long time if the chips are on back order
