Hey guys, I have my BenQ drive flashed with Xtreme 1.4 I believe, and I don't have my orig.bin anymore (computer it was on had a hard drive failure). What program(s) would I need to update my firmware to the new iXtreme 1.51, or is that not possible without the original?
Thanks!

You don't need the original. Just flash it like you normally would if it where stock.
I recommend jungleflasher 0.1.55 to flash.

you are running on a thin line asking for trouble, it is always good to have a copy of your KEY in case something happens. You can simply even email it to yourself. i would get the key before even atempting to flash incase someting goes wrong. you can always get your key using firmware tool

Well if he is going to flash it he will be saving the firmware that is on it right now before flashing any way. So just proceed as normal.

That is correct, I have a backup of my current key, but not the original key.
In case it doesn't work I'll have the key I'm using right now to flash back onto the drive.

Well the key on the current firmware is your original key. So, you just don't have your original bin.
Everything will be just fine. follow the JF user guide.

Do what automatically?
You must read the firmware first and save it before flashing ixtreme, so it will have your key in that firmware.

That's what I figured the "read" did but wasn't sure. I'll have my sata card hopefully tomorrow so I'm just studying up.

you should be fine and good to go as long as you have your key, the key never changes so it is the same key, the key only changes if you change xboxs. each key goes to a specific xbox 360, thats why its important to save and know your key.
