I have the tutorial but it's windows, not osx specific.

I have the same problem. I downloaded abgx360 v 1.0 and then 1.01 for OSX after I deleted the older version. The new OSX package seems to be missing the stealthfiles folder, ini files, and everything else.
When I tried to use the new version I kept getting this error:
ERROR: Failed writing body
There seems to be a problem with the db so online functions have been disabled
Try again later...
I have since gone back to v. 0.9.4, so until I can figure out the problem I'll be sticking to 2nd wave games only.

That makes sense, especially since I use imgburn via VMWare Fusion anyway. I'll give it a go. Thx.

The StealthFiles folder exists. It's just hidden. Use this command in Terminal: -
Quote: defaults write com.apple.Finder AppleShowAllFiles YES
You'll then be able to find the StealthFiles folder with Finder. Then you can re-hide folders again with this command: -
Quote: defaults write com.apple.Finder AppleShowAllFiles NO

Sorry to bring up an old thread, but I have the same isue and I've been unable to find a solution that doesn't involve installing windows in mac.
Has anybody made 1.0.1 work in native OS-X?
For me it has the same problem when downloading GameNameLookup.csv...
Quote: Checking for updates to GameNameLookup.csv and abgx360.dat...
Downloading GameNameLookup.csv
2% [ ] 1,093
ERROR: Failed writing body (-1 != 1093)
There seems to be a problem with the db so online functions have been disabled
Try again later...
I'm also unable to find the ini files nor the csv installed with the application.
EDIT: I just found on this other thread where the files are (in %user%/.abgx360 duh!)
Any help?
RE-EDIT: I just found my solution. Once I found the files I discovered that there where owned by other user (??). Weird, but I just chown them and everything is working like a charm now. Thanks for reading this useless post, that most of you will find silly. But maybe there are other dumbs like me that apreciate that I leave it here... Just in case.
Thanks in advance,
Jur.

Thanks, man. I appreciate your reply.
It's very usual that one goes to the internet to find a solution, finds none, posts asking... then solves it and forget about the post.
I like to post the solution to close the thread... In that way it isn't just some disk space wasted in several server disks... and maybe it can help someone.
Best of luck for you,
Jur.
