Hey all, I saw today that Nintendo released firmware 4.0 for Wii...and on the description it says that there are "behind-the-scenes" improvements which I believe might include changes to eliminate hacks and modchips...(?)...

Does anyone has any info on this? I ordered a DriveKey a few days ago and I'm still waiting for it...I won't update for now just to be sure. But I wanted to know if this update can brick or otherwise make a wii unusable when chipped of hacked...

I know many people here say that no firmware to date has detected nor deativated any modchip...but there's always a first time right?...
