Strange, I'm guessing that you are outside M$'s year warranty and within the 3 year extended warranty, Correct?
You could always try disconnecting the fans and leaving it on overnight.

running without the fans will only run for 5 minute or so then shutdown on cpu overheat,

If you didnt void the warranty, you can send it back to microsoft as long as no one ever opened up your xbox.

Even if he did open the case he could send it back in if the sticker us in good shape and the case doesn't show any signs of being opened. If he doesn't have thestucker he can get one from eBay for about 15 bucks.

lol my case looked like a gorilla opened it up cause i used a screw driver on it so many times, I slapped a good sticker on it and got a new one back.

Thank you everyone for your replies. How do I disconnect the fans without opening the casing? My case is still intact with the M$ sticker.

I tried calling a few times but they just didn't buy the idea here in Asia. I even went down personally to the service centre. Quote "NO RROD NO CLAIM!". By the way, my set is past the 1 year warranty but still within the 3 years RROD warranty.
