Ive lost all my channels on this box.Feed is live and no probs at all on my other box.Signal is 80% and it finds all the transponders
but when it goes into channel search it find no channels.flashed with the uptodate firmware
Any suggestions?

Retune without using a splitter if you have one attached. Let me know if it helps.
p.s. also restore factory settings check that you chosen option 2 for N*L before your search
how soon is now?

Ive allready retuned using factory defaults and no splitter box in line...I am on Telepest.Thanks for your reply though

if all else fails the best solution is to re-flash with latest 24/12/08 firmware... before doing so check your other box on the opposite connection just to eliminate a bad signal...
whta exactly is it saying on screen after you tune
how soon is now?

Ive allready done all that.All it says is no channel after Ive tuned it
Think the tuner is up the creek....finds all the TPs 41 which is normal and signal is good...but doesnt find any channels.all the other boxes pvr500 and kryptview work fine on same feed

You say it finds all the TPs but no channels, when you scan do you get ch1, ch2 ch3, so on?

No nothing not even a radio channel. been working for 18 months no probs. Now finds nothing...yet the other boxes are working ok using the same feed.Also tried the reset button.

I can only think then is to reload the latest firmware, check your on the right symbol for your area, rescan. If that fails then the box could be kaput if others work.

Could be a tuner issue if the other receivers are working in the same place, you could also try the 8% signal firmware fix from eamos.

Many thanks for your reply.Will try the 8% signal firmware.Ive had god use for the last 18 months so cant complain..suspect it is the tuner as It shows 80% signal and finds the correct TPs

Will post a reply on the results.
Tried the 8% firmware still no channels found.Still finds the 40 TP though.Think your right about the tuner being duff.
Many thanks for the replies to my problem.The Eurovox done good service for about 18 months.Not complaing

Don't mean to state the obvious, but did you leave on sly sprts 1 or sly indie to allow itself to update?? just a thought, on the last fix it takes abou 5-10 mins to catch all channels.. best of luck
how soon is now?

He/she isn't getting any channels troutalan so unable to leave it on any channel to update.

No as the problem is its finding no channels allthough its finding 40 transponders..signal is fine into the house as the other eurovox and kryptview work fine.as Hitech says its proberly the tuner.

Installed latest ver in eammos libary and also tried 8% firmware
Allthough looking at the system info it says :
S/w ver 1.0 apr 18 1008
H/W ver 2.ot k5
bootstrap v.001

The other eurovox is a pvr 500...would the CDF work on the Euromax v?
Also whats the difference between the pvr 500 and the 5100

CDF's from any of the eurovox's barring ex7000hd are compatible with each other so yes the CDF from the ex5000pvr will work on the max V, to answer your last question there is no difference between the 2 boxes, the ex5100 was brought out to combat the sale of clones as the 5000 has been cloned now but the 5100 have not been as of yet.
Upload the CDF from the PVR and save it to your PC then do a factory default on the max V then hook up to the PC and download that CDF to it.

Very grateful to you Hitek...it worked.wish I knew what the problem was.Anyhow I as always apriciate you and scouser and all the others who give advice freely for over two years.Wish others would do likewise and apriciate all the good work you all do.

Sorry to say its gone back to as it was.Lasted about 4 days.Its back to saying unknown service on all the channels.But feed is ok as the other boxes (eurovoxpvr and Krptview) all working ok.Thanks once more HiTeck for your help.I susupect the tuner has given up the ghost after all

Hi might sound like a silly question but has anyone else out there lost just the movie channels? I;m getting a message saying "insert smart card". Has anyone else got this? all other channels seem to be working ok.
