hi.only have the box two months,have lost several ch.could someone please tell me the procedure for manual scan.i have tried autoscan and that did not work on the starview.think i might of bought into this at the wrong time,only discovered this site two hours ago,very good.
first get the frequincies for all channels on your cable network,they should be on this site.press menu,on installation press ok,on cable network scroll right to find your network,(ntl/chorus/virgin etc)then scroll down to manual scan,press ok,down frequency should be highlighted ,if so you then type in the frequecy you wish to scan, then press ok.when the scan is complete press exit,and exit again and exit again.now your back on tv channels,press ok and using the down arrow button go through all your channels untill you come near the end of the list any new channels found will be there.failing that do a factory reset.but if you do be sure to switch back on your emu.good luck mate.
