Hey, I have the Samsung drive and I am trying to flash it using jungle flasher...Whenever I hit write it gives me an error saying that the targer buffer is not a lite-on..I had a bad flash and erased it...but have the original key and spoofed the bin to the new 1.51...every time I hit write it just wont let me do it giving me the same error....Also when I load 1.51 into iPrep it gives me a no valid firmware...please help. Thanks

make sure the 1.51 u have is a samsung .bin file, not lite-on.
Was ur samsung spoofed as a lite-on or something by any chance?

The original source is samsung as well as the target that I am spoofing. I don't even know how lite on even came up in the error. The bin file is also a samsung.

not sure on the jungleflasher problem but for iprep you need to get the newest ixdef.xml for it to recognize the new firmware.

I havent had this problem but try completely removing JF and then download and reinstall it. Also dump your 1.51 files (dont erase your original bin) and download them again. Sounds like the checksum attached to your sammy 1.51 is mixed up with the checksum for liteon 1.51

Download again and try over. That is what I would do. Save you JF log to a text file and have it readily available. Sign on to #JungleFlasher on efnet and ask them if you continue to have probs. Let us know what you find out. goodluck.

wow thanks for replying. The problem was simply that I had not plugged my data card all the way in and what was being detected was my DVD drive for my computer which I erased the firmware on. I successfull flashed the firmware on the xbox now but my be drive on my computer doesn't work :(

check the mfg website for firmware. u maybe able to flash it back on. if not sorry you may have just lost a drive.
