I have a wiikey 1, and running 3.2 on wii.

Want to run newer games on wii, but don't want to update to version 4 without trying to get homebrew running first.

I've downloaded the homebrew channel iso for modchip wii, off the homebrew channel website. I burnt it to a dvd, but when I put the disk in it wouldn''t read it and came up with the usual disk error screen.

I don't really want to use Twilight hack as seems a little long winded... and would mean getting the game disk first which could take a while downloading.

Anyone know any reason why the Installer.iso (homebrew channel iso) isn't working?

Does it need to be padded, like the wiikey update disks... coz the size of the HBC iso is only 1.7gb i think!

I really want to install these ios files using wads, etc... and try not to update using version 4

Please help!

Twilight hack the only way pal, this hack doesnt work with 4.0 and to be honest your better staying with your curent firmware for the time being until the version 4.0 firmaware has been sorted :)
