i really need some help on this one, i modded my friends xbox 360 with hdmi port a while back ago starting at ixtreme 1.4 for benQ then when the new wave 3 games came out i told him about it and he asked me if i could update it to 1.51 i did but it didnt read anything not even original games so it was a bad flash, and i dont know if theres a tool or a way to reflash the BenQ with ixtreme 1.51 back to the ixtreme 1.4 it was at, I saved the original bin before flashing (when the BenQ was still at ixtreme 1.4) and hv the DVD key from it before it went bad i even opened mine that doesnt have an hdmi port( if it did i would give him mine) and tried to spoof the drive( friends BenQ) with my hitachi 47DJ using firmtool but it didnt work either, so if anyone can help i would even pay using paypal, i just want to give my friend his xbox back so he doesnt get mad.

can i also just buy a stock BenQ off ebay thats the same as the one he had and flash it with the orig.bin that i got before the bad flash?

if you did exactly what you stated then you did not kill the drive. whatever you do don't lose the .bin you read from the drive. Open that bin in JF or FW Toolbox and read its description and check the key. if everything looks good then get the drive recognized in JF and use the erase command. then load 1.4 to source and 1.51 to target and flash away.
this can be done in dos also if need be.

thank you guys for the help, but the thing is i cant get the BenQ unlocked or identified in Jungle Flasher maybe because its got 1.51 and it says it will unlock using magic 28 stock drives and pre 1.5 so that means i cant flash erase or get it identified? I saw in a another tutorial that the tray needs to be manually pushed in halfway for it to unlock then it started blinking rapidly ( the green light on the xbox ring of light) but i got an error in jungleflasher. Now when i turn on the xbox it starts flashing the green light for some reason like its ejecting the tray, maybe i made it worse damn. shit is really confusing with the keys that marry the drives to the boxes, it would be so simple just to switch drives but that doesnt work either:( I think the thing that messed it up was the 1.51 i flashed it with i checked the key of the firmware and it just says 77777777777777777 across thats what corrupted it, but it came with the jungle flasher pack on hacked FW folder and it said ixtreme 1.51 12X FINAL, i should check the firmware what im flashing on to the drives before, i flashed it with that garbage without checking. So should i just buy a non modded BenQ or can this thing be erased and flashed back to normal?

again thank you guys for taking the time to help me i appreciate it, hopefully i can figure this out and fix it by monday or if not ive got some explaining to do,while i buy a replacement drive.

not sure if I entirely understand but if you flashed it with 1.51 and the key is 7777 the only step you forgot was to "spoof source to target" which should have happend automatically in JF. Did you save the OFW.bin file? If yes then open that in the SOURCE and JF will automatically fetch 1.51 and pop up a window that asks to spoof target like source. then flash again.

You can get a BENQ with 1.51 fw (even if you have the wrong key on it) by having it turned on, open JF, hit device/intro, click ok then turn off and power back on the drive quickly. I've even gotten it to work by turning off the drive first, then clicking "ok" after device/intro then quickly turning the drive back on.
BTW, you didn't brick the BENQ just because it has a bad key.

Thank you guys i managed to revert it and actually flash it to 1.51 so now we could play on live!( my friend n me), really i appreciate it you guys are the best, while doing this i actually figured something out on fixing a jammed disc tray ill post it up on here later on its simple. i saw that theres no answer on youtube on fixing a jammed tray so if it helps other on here its cool. Thanks again:)
