Okay I'm on the verge of quitting with this whole thing. For the past 3 days I have been trying to play backups through my wii by using gecko os and gamma loader. I have a wiikey v1 and it plays half of my games still which I assume are not trucha signed. But my trucha signed games just dont seem to want to play through gecko os or gamma loader. I have tried install all these wads but nothing makes it work. I have even downgraded my wii to FW 3.2U but still nothing works. I am so lost can someone please help me. I would be very greatful.

Have you tried updating your wii to 4.0U? I have a WiiKey1 with Homebrew and 4.0U. Most of my games work, and i think all of them would work if i didn't have other issues. eg http://forums.afterdawn.com/thread_view.cfm/760345

By the way... I load games through the disc channel and not gammaloader

Quite a few people have reported problems with 4.0 so that might not be the best solution.

try upgrading your wiikey with the latest firmware... I have had an original wiikey for almost two years now and no games have ever refused to play on it
