Jungleflasher freezing when flashing Benq drive

ok need help flashing Benq drive.
First i tried jungleflasher and while the sata card was selectable it would not see the xbox drive then promptly froze. What did i do wrong?
So then i tried iprep v008 got so far - it loaded all the stuff required onto flash drive -then I went into BIOS and got it to be usb flash bootable with all the stuff.
Rebooted PC and it loaded up from flash drive no problem -
Typed dBen followed by my serial no and hit enter
Got a message about MTK Vendor, turned on 360 drive and pressed yes
Then i got this message:-
Internal stack overflow has caused this session to be halted - change the Stacks setting in config.sys file then try again
Could someone please guide me in what i need to do with the config.sys file?

Which version of jungle flasher are you using? Make sure to use the newest one, 1.55. It is suppose to remove the freezing problems.

it is 1.55 jungle flasher
it just doesnt seem to find the 360 drive and its definately the right port as all the card details are there.

stacks overflow... think you are having a conflict. you need to clear something... it is a dos command, I think something like clear netsh... I don't remember let me think about it. I bet stealth knows the answer. See if he chimes in.

now wondering am i using the right port on the sata card its labeled as 1 but it is directly opposite the port at thefront of pc

just keep switching ports in the drop down till it sees a drive. make sure you don't erase or flash any drives that are in your pc.

wondering could i have bought a dodgy sata card as no matter what ido nothing sees the 360 drive? the card is enabled and drivers have been deleted and portio32 installed. when i go into device manager i do see the via card with a yellow ! and the portio32 is shown above and working ok.
and jungleflasher has the right port as it says its the via 4261 .
i have tried all3 sata ports on the card and 2 different sata cables
its a pluscom via vt6421a serial ata pci adaptor that i have installed.

This is because you need to remove the viamraid.sys in c:\windows\system32
To do this:
disable the via card in device manager, remote the file I mentioned, then re-enable. Should show a "yellow explanation" by it. This is normal. Then flash drive. I had the same problem.

is there a config.sys file on your iprep usb stick?
in Config.sys add the line "STACKS=30" and it should work

does it freeze in jungle flasher after you removed that file? Also, do you hae a yellow explanation by it in device manager?

your second to last line in the above quote you ask for help to fix iprep. I already told you how to do that. change the value to 30 in the config (right click the config, open with NOTEPAD, change the number and save)
which are you using now Iprep or JF?

trying anything and everything my friend.
Going to try your iprep suggestion Bd911 re config.sys before i go to bed
Gameover yes same problem in jungleflasher after removing ramraid.sys and yes have yellow !
I am more and more convinced its a bad sata card
Maybe i am being niaive but should i not see the 360 drive under my computer and devices with removeable media if the sata card was working and the 360 drive is powered on?
if that is the case its the satacard.

no, you probally won't see the xbox360 drive in device manager. I occassionaly notice a hitachi or two in device manager after mode b, and you might see a benq or sammy with 0800 firmware but typically you would not see the drive. The firmware on them is not made for a pc and they are definetly not Plug N Play for windows. Sata typically isn't plug and play either unless you have AHCI enabled.

Looks like the pluscom card is touchy. Read HERE. Looks like Oggy himself got the pluscom to work.
What OS are you using?

leerage - re post 10 - i have done that have the driver removed and the port1032 installed and then the card reenabled.
os = xp with sp2
will read up on oggys work now

sorry been busy just to update - Oggys' method workied i finally got my benq flashed.
thanks guys for all your help and patience in getting me to flash nirvana
