Wheelman Game Question?

Hey,
I place the wheelman in ABGX and everything is fine other than the validation ? Can someone please tell em why this is? Also if I were to burn it like this am I good to play i mean without getting banned? Thanks

do you mean "failed verification"? can you copy and paste the log? I wouldn't burn or play anything that doesn't have all green messages.

the same thing happened here i burned it and it plays fine im assuming it fails because its not in the database yet

it is in the database.
under options do you have "Disable all online functions" ticked? Un-tick if so. The log tells you to do that. based on the first couple of lines of your log your agbx is not accessing the online database.
you are also NOT using the latest version abgx, uninstall 1.0 and install latest.

i just read (again) the other post with the same prob... there is some debate as to wether or not the usenet realease was the japan release. anyway your log never indicates that abgx goes online... are you sure it is accessing the online database?

Well not sure but it was unticked.. I have uninstalled now going to install the new v1.01 and see what happens... this is the latest version right? thanks :)

did you download the game? if yes don't play it till you get things figured out.
if you ripped it yourself then play the orig. is it available in your local stores?

do you see in your log 2 lines below the words "Starting Autofix"?
maybe the database is down.. try some other .iso real quick and show me that log.

I don't have another .iso.. What I did was burn the game on a dvd .. then found out that I forgot to ABGX it so I made an image file from the DVD with IMGBURNER.. do you think this is why? thanks

I have tried this now on Afro Samurai and Wheelman and both games "fail verification"? My options are all ok and set to update from the net but still not verifying? Is this safe to play? Everything else is green just the verification is yellow...

again, looking at that pic.. the first couple lines, it shows that abgx is not even checking on the database, only to your local files. Make sure you dont have the "disable all online functions" checked.

still f'ing with this,huh? I am going to go out on a limb here....
if we are on the right track and agbx is NOT accessing the net then lets prove or disprove that right now. are you running xp? probally. in network connections make sure you have an icon placed on the task bar for connection.. you know the little picture of the computers talking? also open of the task manager and click on the networking tab. have a close eye on the icon and the networking tab. (oh yeah set the limits on the graph appropriately) then hit the launch button on agbx. Now is the icon solid blue and did the networking graph jump up torwards the top? If yes, and it sustains then it has nothing to do with not at least trying to go online. If NO then maybe you have some crazy virus protection that prevents agbx from accessing the internet.
i could be totally wrong but it's worth a shot. I personally dont have wheelman and therefore never ran it through abgx. what was the outcome in the other wheelman thread? have you tried #agbx on efnet for help?

Bro thanks for response.. it is definitely connecting as there is a solid blue line on top says "downloading game name lookup.csv then it says 100%. so there is not problem .. please check the screen aswell.. just don't knwo what its not verifying? Also I am running vista not xp? so I dunno why you assumed xp ? lol thanks

he had check local files set under autofix
This Only checks local and not online. The older ABGX would would check local and then online. new ABGX if this is check will only check local.
Oh and bd911 honored you thought of me when stumped.
