As ferg says UK is going to be totally different but in Ireland Fergus when N2 Switches over to N3 the Krypt shall be as useless as the rest. If, and thats a very big IF, they provide support after N3 switchover I will be shocked because that is extremely unlikely. As unlikely as any other box doing it.
And N2 is totally open isn't it thats why hence, we have Kryptview and ITGate. It's N3 thats coming very shortly thats the problem.

I would predict after a few months the channels will start to drop on both those boxes also as has happened on all the others as it switches to N3. And it's not really a prediction cos we know it's happening.

nobody knows for sure what way things are going to go if they go to N3 will they wont they best to just wait and see what happens
people said the same about N2 the box wont work once it goes to there well they where wrong same maybe for the N3
best to wait and see what they are going to do first let them show there hand first
its just like poker waiting to see who has the wining hand in the end do they do the cable box makers who knows cat and mouse lol

They've already paid the licence for N3 though Ferg so would be ridiculous not to switch. N2 is temp as we all know N3 is the permenant move.
I totally agree 'No one knows'!!

ah yes they have but have they got everybody in the whole of Ireland ready dont think so still plenty pvr boxes out there that will only run N2 they cant switch from N2 to N3 till everyone ready
and they have moved 90% of channels to N2 why ??? because they know there is only 2 boxes decoding them and the rest was getting a full basic package so what do they do move all the rest to N2 then 98% of all dodgy boxes gone
more revenue coming in to them im sure they are reading all the forums and now know that they have nearly one but have they ??
they wont and we wont know till they show their hand until then sit back and watch the fun begin like im going to do from now

Ah but reswob there lies the problem. The support will disappear when the switchover happens. As sure as night is day.
