Can I still play online with my softmodded xbox 360?

I have my xbox 360 soft modded and I was wondering can I still play online. To my understanding if you have the mod chip inside your xbox they can detect it and ban you so I'm trying to get clarification on it can someone please help

which do you have a chip or flashed? there is no guarantee on live but thousands with flashed drives play on live everyday succesfully.

make sure your .iso are good.

My xbox 360 was softmodded and I copied a lot of games but so has not went online as of yet

You should be OK to play online. There are no guarantees you wont be banned though.

As others have said, make sure that you run you ISO's through ABGX before you burn then to check they are OK.

Probably worth your whilst to ensure you are running the latest CFW for your drive.
