Trying to backup games REFUSES to work

Ok so here's the deal. I have the H353B and I flashed it with the D163B Kreon firmware since the two are compatible. I have flashed it 3 times with success messages the last 2 times (froze the first time at 100%) and yes I rebooted my system. Windows (along with all other programs) now recognizes the drive as a D163B.

All good...

HOWEVER... whenever I try using XBC 2.6 to rip a game the start button is grayed out. The "Unlock Drive"button is grayed out and ther is a message beside the start button saying "This is not a true 1 to 1 copy of the image"

The text at the bottom shows this:

So I believe the drive is flashed correctly and it seems to be recognizing the disc.... But the start button is grayed out and I cannot do anything to make it clickable.

Whats wrong?

Also should mention that I tried using Schtrom and I consistantly get an error reading "Only XBOX backup extraction is supported on this drive"

I should mention that the suffix to my drive is SB01 (I read that that somehow had something to do with the flashing)

Just tried using the drive on a different SATA port. No luck...

I'm running out of ideas here!! Please help ASAP!

I was under the impression that 2.6 was the latest version but after googling for like the 1,000,000th time i found out that there has been a recent 2.8 release which included support of the D163B Kreon firmware.

I feel pretty stupid but o well problem solved :D
