why does the 'found new hardware wizard' keep popping up for the raid controler when ive already instaled the xbox 360 driver. its showing up as xbox 360 driver on device manager but also as raid controler under other devices

Because you don't have a driver installed for the RAID card. If it's the VIA 6421, don't install one and use port/io to dump with JungleFlasher.

go here C:\WINDOWS\system32\drivers and remove the driver. then in device manager disable the device
