|
trying to set it up for a friend i am familiar with the whole setup. it is saying no signal. Emu is on, and there is signal on another box, is there something i am missing. the scans cannot find any channels????

what is on system info v??? latest file is v1250,ur box if new is freeview only until flashed.

i flashed it with 1220 and 1240, thats when i couldn't get any signal then.

i dont know that file,latest working is v1250 for xl all black box for irl.
look under latest fix for irl and uk thread at top of page sticky

there is a v3200 for mmds box which will not work on xl box,u can only use xl firmware on xl box,use the v1250 for irl.

no signal can mean u had coaxial in wrong socket.

yeah orginally i turned on the box. scanned 169 channels found but only 3e, rte one and setanta worked. so i knew i had to put new firmware on it to update the other channels, so i put on 1250 it rebooted and then i no channels and no signal would come through on the auto scan or manual scan. i hadnt changed the cable input. Then i reloaded the original sw from another box back to the start only the few channel working. When i put on the 1250 i could get into cas ok. but the original sw i can't get into the cas menu, this is from it being preview i presume now

to do correctly,factory reset first,flash with v1250,autoscan ur provider,set default key,emu to on,box will update 3 times,on third time it will work.
to switch emu on,menu-system info-ok1004-set default and emu to on-exit out,

u did not have ur emu switched on thats why only those channels worked.

v1250 is for digivox xl all black model yes?it says xl on front,and it is not silver in colour.?
