serial data bad means the information gathered over the serial connection was not good, if using jungle flasher it trys several times real quick and compares them, if they all didn't match then you get that error. keep trying if you get a couple reads with the same serial information then chances are it is good. steer clear of lots of FFFFFFF,777777777 or 00000000000.
your computer told you to chckdisk cuz you keep shutting it down via the power switch or reset and not using the windows shutdown. or your hard disk is so beat up its gonna die.

i was so close to flashing had the probe in r707, and got that message, i thought maybe the jungle flasher i had was not good(dunno why) so i opened up jf 0.29. next thing i no my pc has a blue screen and 0000 and 1111s with errors, now it wont even start up.
so now i gotta fix my pc before i can flash it again. AARGHH!!!!ALL THAT WORK OPENING THE XBOX UP, AND CAREFULLY OPENING WARRANTY SEALS FOR NOTHIN
