My friend gave me a copy of his save data of Socom Confrontation. And I deleted my copy of save data for that game and then put the copy he gave me on my ps3. Now when I start the ps3 is says there is no save data. Anyone know why it isn't reading the save data he gave me. Could it be that he has a older ps3 and I bought right before christmas.

It might be that the data is PS3-specific. Actually, that's probably the most likely case. You probably aren't able to swap saves from one PS3 to another.

I figured out the problem the BCUS of the game is different from the game I have so the save wouldn't work so I had to do it my self.
