I have not installed homebrew as of this moment because I have 4.0.

I was just wondering right now so that I do not have to ask later.

Suppose I have an .iso of a torrented wii game.
I burn it onto a dvd and put it in the wii.
Is the game supposed to show up in the homebrew channel and I launch it from there?

Once again- I dont have it yet, never have before, I am waiting :)

Up to now you cant install the HomeBrew channel on a wii with Version 4.0 firmware. Also the HomeBrew channel is used for loading and installing homebrew software, you would need something like the backup launcher to be able to play these games. You can find all this information by searching in the forum and also at http://wiibrew.org for a list of applications that can be installed by the HomeBrew channel.
